While we wait for the sunflowers to emerge at Forks of the River WMA, there are rows of blooms of sunflowers at Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge.  We will meet at the observation gazebo at 9 am and shoot sunflowers or anything else we see interesting until noon.  Then if you are interested in grabbing lunch before heading home, we plan to stop at Mo's BBQ and perhaps even the boat ramp in Dayton.  There are some beautiful cypress trees there, and you might see some Kingfishers or Green Herons.  You never know what you will see if you get out and look.

We will provide directions, detailed itinerary and equipment suggestions to registrants, but there should be a host of opportunities from sunflowers to birds, wildlife, or landscape scenes.
