We are going to try something different for this field event.  We will meet around noon at the 'gathering place' by the creek on Sparks Lane at noon.  Bring a sandwich, snacks, and a drink.  We have limited this event to 20 spots so if you sign up and then have to cancel, please do so on the registration to open up your spot. If you can carpool to the Cove, that will be great too.

This field event is a little different from the others in the past. This time we focus on landscapes and structures. We have chosen 7 stops around the Cades Cove loop to concentrate on while limiting your time to 30 minutes per stop. We will break up into groups and start at different cabins to help with parking and allow us to have more elbow room while shooting. Each group will visit all the stops, and then we will all meet at the Sparks Lane gathering place at the end to compare notes and grab a snack before we go out on our own.  Depending on your interest, you may want to bring your big lens and stick around to see if the Harriers or the Short Eared Owl make an appearance at sunset. 

We hope you think of this as a challenge to work on something other than wildlife in the cove and a twist on our previous events.
