Location:  Cedar Bluff Public Library--Meeting Room

9045 Cross Park Dr. Knoxville, TN 37923

Description of the event:  The plan will be to discuss how to photograph insects “in the field” by using macro / close-up photography techniques. I will reference “on line” sources for insect macro photography tips and ideas.  Additionally I will discuss the gear that I use (cameras, lenses, flash, flash diffusers).

Who should come:  Anyone even mildly curious about trying their hand at macro insect photography. There will be no requirement for attendees to “touch” the critters

What to bring?  Bring your camera and a macro lens or a lens that has a very close-focusing distance ability.  I plan to bring a couple of my pet "jumping spiders" that attendees will be able to photograph.
