Kevin is the author and photographer of ten books. Kevin's books on waterfalls in North Carolina are a must-have for waterfall photographers who photograph waterfalls in North Carolina. An accomplished photography instructor, he leads photo tours and teaches numerous workshops and seminars throughout the year. Often called the “MacGyver of Photography,” he designed and sells several unique products for night photographers.

Kevin lives in Waynesville, North Carolina, with his wife, Patricia, their elderly cat, Lucy, three hellion cats he personally rescued from Puerto Rico, and two more cats that showed up one day and decided to move in. Oh, and the raccoons, skunks, and opossums that show up every night to steal the cat’s food.
Who Should Attend:
You. Whether you are a beginner photographing waterfalls or taking night photographs; or an advanced waterfall or night photographer, YOU will learn tips and tricks that you never considered for waterfallls or night photography. This is your chance to learn from one of the masters of waterfall photography and night photography, especially if you do not have the time to commit to attending his on-location workshops.
Why Should You Attend Kevin's Workshop:
People used to ask Kevin Adams what is there to photograph at night, but today, night photography is extremely popular, with photographers capturing all sorts of nighttime subjects. Nothing new to do, right? Not so fast!
In this presentation, Kevin covers the typical stuff— the Milky Way, star trails, lighthouses, cityscapes, etc.—but he’ll also talk about photographing subjects you’ve never thought of, and share techniques for photographing ordinary subjects in ways you’ve never imagined.
Fair warning, though. Kevin says that after you attend this presentation, you won’t get much sleep going forward—unless you do it in the daytime!
What you will discover: Night photography is an area of photography you can accomplish without having to do long hikes, or having clear skies. At the end of this workshop you will learn how to take your night photography skills to a new level.

What to Bring: A notepad and pen. You cannot record the workshop.
Rules to Know: This is a nonrefundable event. No exceptions.
