Description of the event: Photoshop: The Curves Tool and Curves Adjustment Layers
This will be the fourth in a series of modules intended to develop your Photoshop skills. The series is open ended, but for now will focus on the basics. The goal is for you to be advance your ability to process images by developing a foundation to build on. Learning Photoshop is a lifelong process, so building a foundation sets the stage for further learning. This module gets you closer to actually processing an image, and if you are already doing that, then should help make it easier and better.
Who should Come?
The module is geared towards the new Photoshop user but will have information that more experienced users may have never learned. This is especially true for those who are self-taught. What I have learned in preparing to teach this is all the things that I did not know. I think you may find some useful information as well, regardless of your skill level.
What to bring?
A laptop with Photoshop installed. Be sure your battery is fully charged and capable of a 90-minute session. There will be some power outlets. Bring an extension cord if you need one. Drinks and food are allowed, so a water bottle is OK and a sandwich if you have not eaten.
