Meeting place: Seven Islands State Park, 2809 Kelly Ln, Kodak, TN 37764

The weather should be better for photography this Sunday so the hike got the rainy Saturday.  There is a chance of rain on Sunday but it should not keep us from enjoying Seven Islands. Seven Islands is a wonderful place to see birds, deer, turtles, frogs etc. They are still there but there are more visitors to the area now. We will get an early start and head up the trail to the pond with the observation deck. We may go further or we may return to the parking area. We might decide to check out some other areas while there.

Description:  What will you see.  Birds as we explore the area with deer watching us from their hiding places. Maybe we will see more including marco options and a frog or two.  There should be a lot of options for you to photograph.

Learning opportunities:

You may want you macro lens and your long lens.  You will have several options to explore and play with your camera. Tripod suggested but not required.

What to wear:  It is still early spring. Dress comfortable. Be prepared for rain.

What to bring:  Camera, Tripod, Water, Snacks

Walking required: The amount of walking you do will be vary and be up to you. We will follow some of the trails.  There will be some climbing on some but most will be able to do those.  Bring water because you may get thirsty as we will be out in the open for most of the time we are there.
