It is the 4th of July. Sunflowers should be blooming. The Sunflower Festival is on Saturday. This will give us a chance to see what is blooming. It is a chance to use your camera early on the 4th. You will still have time to chase fireworks later in the day at your favorite fireworks location.
Description: It's sunflower season. Sunflowers attract birds, bees, and other crawling creatures. Let's get an early morning start and check out the area. There should be a lot of options for you to photograph.
Learning opportunities:
This is a good location to work on your technique using macro, zoom, or whatever lens you prefer. You will have several options to explore and play with your camera. Tripod suggested but not required.
What to wear: It is July. Dress comfortable. Be prepared for rain. Bring bug spray.
What to bring: Camera, Tripod, Water, Snacks and whatever you need to be comfortable photographing in the Sunflower field.
Walking required: The amount of walking you do will be entirely up to you and how much exploring you want to do.
