Spring time in Cades Cove is unique. The buttercups have bloomed though there may still be a few left. Yes, click on  buttercups.

This event is different. This is a walking event to help you get ready for the wildflowers photo events next month.

We will be walking about 5-6 miles at a slow steady pace on a path that will be wet from the morning dew.

What will we see?  Who knows?  Maybe a bear, maybe not.  Maybe a deer or two. Maybe some wild flowers.  Maybe a babbling brook.  Maybe a bald eagle, if we could get that lucky. Maybe a nice sunrise.  Maybe a coyote if we are really lucky.  Maybe a snake or two.  I will pick them up if you promise to hold it.

Depending on how lucky we are on the walk, we may visit some of the houses for some different views than most see and so other sights if the one road is open.

Dress in shoes that you are comfortable with as you may get wet.
