About SANPSANP is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to photography of the natural environment. Our motto is "Sharing the Awareness of Nature through Photography." | SANP Members may view Board Meeting Minutes and Bylaws. See the Members Only page. View photos from club members on our Zenfolio gallery. |
Founded in 1991, SANP is based in Knoxville, Tennessee – an area rich in natural beauty. Photo opportunities include the Great Smoky, Cumberland, and Blue Ridge Mountains, pastoral valleys, and numerous lakes rivers and streams. We have nine meetings a year, held the last Tuesday of the month. We do not meet in December or in June and July.
Our meetings feature presentations by highly skilled nature photographers from our region as well as nationally known artists from across the country. Club members have the opportunity to participate in field trips throughout the year. Occasional seminars are also offered. Our annual Salon is in February during which we display print entries, show digital entries, and award hundreds of dollars in door prizes to attendees.
